PHNOM PENH – A Cambodia-Thailand working group planted 44 of 277 temporary border posts between border posts 42 and 43, a process that took place from November 28 to December 3, 2025.
Officials from the Secretariat of Border Affairs provided an update on the measurement and demarcation work along the border section between posts 42 and 47, in O’Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province, opposite Thailand’s Khok Sung district, in Sa Kaeo province.
They explained that the temporary demarcation process started from border post 42.
According to the secretariat, from November 19 to November 26, joint survey teams from Cambodia and Thailand implemented on-site work along the border section between border posts 42 and 43, which is approximately 7 km long. They finished aerial photography using drones to create a photomap.
On November 27, both sides used the aerial photographic data to create a photomap.
