Ahead of their grappling contest against two huge names of the sport, the twins have strong words about their opponents. Tye who is up against the brash American Danaher Death Squad member believes that he has the skills and cardio to break the rising star in their highly anticipated showdown.

“Garry is a funny guy, I don’t have any ill will or feelings toward him at all, I called him out years ago when I fought Nicky Ryan, one of his teammates. It’s been years, and now we’re finally meeting up, I’m excited,” Tye said. “I think once we move forward, it’s going to be just hurricane of crazy transitions and scrambles until I break him. That’s the difference between Garry and me, I have better cardio and I can adapt my ability to break people more than he does,” he added.

On the other side of the coin, Kade is set to battle the Japanese icon, Shinya Aoki, who has a world of experience under his belt. Despite the tough challenge in front of the young grappler, Kade sees a number of ways he might beat the grand master of flying submission.

“I know [Aoki] is a bit of a work horse, [and] he looks isometrically strong and doesn’t make too many errors. He’s very good at keeping a consistent pace in his fights,” Kade explained.

The teen sensation explained that while he doesn’t have too much footage of the Japanese icon’s grappling matches to learn from, he believes that he has the skills to adapt to whatever “Tobikan Judan” has in store for the young athlete.

“I expect a wrestling scrap, some judo exchanges, and some sort of takedown exchange on the feet, and within 2 minutes we’ll be on the ground. And regardless of if I’m on top or bottom, after that moment I think I’ll find a submission,” he added.
