Taiwan to ban China’s Xiaohongshu app for one year on fraud concerns
In a statement, Taiwan's Interior Ministry said the fraud cases on the app, which it said had three million users in Taiwan, had resulted in losses of US$7.9 million since 2024, and that the app had failed all 15 indicators in a government cybersecurity assessment.
