DHAKA – Three crude bombs exploded tonight in front of the entrance of Sagufta — a housing and land development company, located just beside the Pallabi police station.
According to Maksuder Rahaman, deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Mirpur Division, miscreants hurled the bombs from the Kalshi flyover at around 8:45pm.
He confirmed that no casualties have been reported.
The incident occurred less than 50 hours after the killing of Jubo Dal leader Golam Kibria in the same area. Law enforcers suspect the murder may be linked to local criminal groups vying for territorial dominance.
