Six-year-old Jacquelin the youngest Malaysian to scale Everest Base camp

KUALA LUMPUR – Former national middle distance runner Melinder Kaur, despite facing discouragement from many parties, now stands as a proud mother as her daughter Jacquelin Kaur has entered the Malaysia Book of Records as the youngest to scale the Everest Base camp in Nepal.

The bubbly six-year-old Jacquelin was accompanied by Melinder in her awe-inspiring attempt, which was completed in five days from Sept 10-14.
