BEIJING – Military exchanges between China and Vietnam will be further enhanced, and practical cooperation will be expanded, China’s senior military official said on Saturday.
China and Vietnam are a community of common destiny with strategic significance and China is willing to carry forward the traditional friendship of “comrades plus brothers” with Vietnam, said Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission He WeiDong while meeting Vietnamese Defense Minister Phan Van Giang in Beijing.
