HANOI – The exhibition Hà Nội Trong Tôi (Hà Nội In Me) will start on September 10, featuring 50 unique watercolour paintings and sculptures of scenery, people and the culture of the capital city.

As a celebration of the 70th anniversary of Capital Liberation Day on October 10, the management board of Hoàn Kiếm Lake and Hà Nội Old Quarter is collaborating with Hà Nội Watercolour Artists Club to launch a painting exhibition.

Professional and amateur painters, the majority of whom are young Hà Nội natives — or those who have been to the city several times and have received a lasting impression — are participating in the exhibition.

The works displayed in the exhibition reflect the daily activities, culture, heritage and natural scenery of Hà Nội, thereby conveying to visitors the love for the homeland, country and people vividly and authentically.

Each artist’s work not only showcases their talent and creativity but also captures the cultural characteristics and artistic spirit of Hanoian people.

To establish a connection between artists, artworks and the public, events involving the artists themselves will also take place during the exhibition.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition takes place at 5pm on September 10 at the Old Quarter Cultural Exchange Centre, 49 Trần Hưng Đạo, Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội. The exhibition runs until September 20.
