China denies reports of willingness to participate in Ukraine peacekeeping mission

Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said China's stance on the Ukraine 'crisis' "has always been consistent and clear."

BEIJING – Beijing has dismissed reports suggesting China expressed willingness to participate in a potential international peacekeeping mission in Ukraine as untrue.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Monday at a daily news briefing that the reports are not factual, adding that China’s stance on the Ukraine crisis “has always been consistent and clear”.
