COLOMBO – SLPP National List MP Dr Seetha Arambepola says that she is ready to resign from her parliamentary seat if ousted President Gotabaya Rajapaksa wants to enter Parliament.
Dr Arambepola, said that as of now there had been no discussions on the need for her to resign to facilitate Rajapaksa’s entry into Parliament via the National List.
She however said that she was willing to give up her seat if Rajapaksa decided to enter politics again.Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapaksa, who met Rajapaksa on Saturday, said that he had not discussed anything related to his future in politics.
