NEW DELHI – A 13-year-old Afghan boy travelled from Kabul to Delhi by hiding in the landing gear of a Kam Air flight, ANI reported yesterday.
The teenager, a resident of Kunduz, concealed himself in the landing gear section of Kam Air’s Kabul-Delhi flight RQ-4401, which landed at Delhi Airport on September 21.
Airline staff spotted him wandering near the aircraft shortly after its arrival. He was questioned by security officials, who then discovered how he had made the dangerous journey.
During a detailed inspection, Kam Air’s security and engineering teams also found a small red audio speaker in the landing gear area.
The boy was taken into custody by security agencies for questioning. After completing formal procedures, he was sent back to Kabul the same day on Kam Air’s return flight RQ-4402.
