Touching on the state of global security in his National Day Rally speech, PM Lee called on Singaporeans to be mentally ready for disruptions to the region's stability.
Mr Lawrence Wong, who is also Finance Minister, added that the extent of this easing towards the year end and where the new inflation rates will stabilise at are big uncertainties.
Singapore must also remain united and cohesive, said Mr Lee, who highlighted that domestic politics must "stop at our shores".
