The paper noted that climate change will soon affect the distribution of mosquitoes in Cambodia and might cause some species to flourish in areas where they were previously absent.
Schools across Cambodia were closed for 250 days during 2020 and 2021, owing to the spread of Covid-19, equivalent to almost two thirds of the two school years combined.
He expressed confidence that the capital will have enough running water in 2023, as several facilities are slated for completion by then.
The areas include the Preah Jayavarman-Norodom National Park as well as various wildlife sanctuaries.
The financing will provide US$69.25 million in funding to help improve equitable access to basic education.
