Blinken, Wang scheduled to meet next week

Their meeting will be the first face-to-face meeting since the G20 summit in Rome last October.

TOKYO — The U.S. State Department announced on Tuesday that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Indonesia and Thailand from Wednesday through Monday.

Blinken will attend the Group of 20 foreign ministers’ meeting in Indonesia and hold bilateral talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

It will be the first face-to-face meeting between Blinken and Wang since the G20 summit in Rome last October.
