Bruneian flavours, traditions take centre stage

The Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Oman showcased Bruneian traditional food and products, including kueh cincin, sapit, keropok udang, nasi katok, and soto Brunei, during the Muscat Night festival 2026 on January 14.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – The Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Oman participated in Muscat Night festival 2026 on January 14, showcasing Bruneian traditional food and products, including kueh cincin, sapit, keropok udang, nasi katok, and soto Brunei.

Live cooking demonstrations of cucur udang and cucur pisang were also conducted. The embassy also organised a quiz session featuring questions about Brunei Darussalam.

The event was organised by the Muscat Municipality and is held every January.
