Cambodian PM Manet meeting with Chinese President Xi on sidelines of Tianjin summit

PHNOM PENH – Prime Minister Hun Manet is set to meet with Chinese President XI Jinping for bilateral talks in China during his attendance at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Plus Summit.

His meeting with Xi will focus on strengthening and deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the win-win cooperation between the two countries, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Plus Summit takes part in Tianjin, China, from today, August 30 to September 1.

During the summit, Manet will deliver a statement on the Summit’s theme “Implementing Multilateralism, Ensuring Regional Security and Promoting Sustainable Development”, according to the ministry.
