Chopper crashes in Nepal, all five passengers dead including four Chinese nationals

Five people, including four Chinese nationals, have died after a helicopter crashed in Shivapuri National Park in Nuwakot on Wednesday afternoon, according to Nepal Police spokesperson.

KATHMANDU – Five people, including four Chinese nationals, have died after a helicopter crashed in Shivapuri National Park in Nuwakot on Wednesday afternoon, according to Nepal Police spokesperson.

DIG Dan Bahadur Karki, spokesperson for Nepal Police, told the Post that all five onboard have been killed.

Subash Jha, spokesperson of Tribhuvan International Airport, said the 9N-AJD chopper belonging to Air Dynasty took off from Kathmandu at 1:54 pm for Syaprubesi, Rasuwa.

It was flown by Captain Arun Malla.

According to the spokesperson Karki, the crash site is located in Suryachour, Nuwakot, near the capital city Kathmandu.
