HANOI – The Year of the Tiger is fast approaching but the big cats are on the brink of extinction in the wild in Việt Nam. Currently, tigers are allowed to be raised in non-commercial farming facilities across the country, but experts say more action should be taken to protect this dying breed of big cat.
