Dinosaur tracks in China’s Hebei suggest one of slowest meat-eaters
Made by a three-toed theropod dinosaur that moved at a pace of 0.28 meters per second (about 1 km/hour), these tracks suggest the creature either stopped intermittently or took an extremely slow walk, a stark contrast to the faster running speeds commonly associated with its kind.
