High Court reserves verdict in Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi’s case

A single bench of Justice Sameer Jain heard the arguments and reserved his verdict on Wednesday in the case related to a statement made by Rahul Gandhi on Sikh community during his visit to US in 2024.

PRAYAGRAJ – The Allahabad High Court has reserved its judgement on a petition filed by Congress MP from Rae Bareli and leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi challenging the verdict of the Varanasi MP-MLA court.

A single bench of Justice Sameer Jain heard the arguments and reserved his verdict on Wednesday in the case related to a statement made by Rahul Gandhi on Sikh community during his visit to US in 2024.

In his petition. Rahul Gandhi had sought quashing of the MP-MLA court verdict accepting an application on July 21, 2025.

The case has been filed by one Nageshwar Mishra of Varanasi.
