Ichijodani Ruins: Uncovering Japan’s Sengoku period
Houses around where the residences of high-ranking samurai were located have been recreated, giving visitors a clearer idea of how the town looked. The valley is an active archeological site, and excavations are still being made to investigate what life in this medieval town was like.
