JAKARTA – Justin Bieber will hold a concert in Indonesia as part of his Justice World Tour on Nov. 3, at Stadion Madya, Gelora Bung Karno in Jakarta. The news was announced on social media by Sound Rhythm, AEG Presents and PK Entertainment, the promoters that are bringing the pop star back to Jakarta after more than a decade. “We are ecstatic to announce that @justinbieber will be coming back to Indonesia with @justicetour on November 3, 2022 at Stadion Madya, Gelora Bung Karno!” wrote Sound Rhythm under the post on its Instagram page, on Thursday afternoon. The Instagram post also shows the concert’s seating layout and the eight categories of tickets being sold for each area, which range from 1.5 million (US$104.47) to 8.5 million rupiah (US$591.99). Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on March 29 on justinbieberinjakarta.com. This news confirmed the rumors of Bieber’s possible concert in Indonesia that had been circulating for several days. The singer first held a concert in Indonesia in 2011 at the Sentul International Convention Center, Bogor, West Java, for his My World Tour. The Justice World Tour promotes Beiber’s sixth album, Justice, which was released on March 19, 2021. Initially, the Canadian pop singer was going to hold a tour for his 2020’s fifth album, Changes. However, it was later sidelined due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Bieber then changed the tour’s name to the Justin Bieber World Tour, but it was again canceled due to the uncertainty of the pandemic situation. Following the loosening of COVID-19 restrictions in the United States and countries around the world, the Justice World Tour started on Feb. 18 this year in San Diego, California, in the US. In addition to Jakarta, Bieber will also hit Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as well as Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo, Japan, for the tour’s run in Asia. More shows in Asia are expected to be announced soon, according to the concert’s website. The entire Justice World Tour spans more than 100 dates throughout 2022 and 2023.
