MANILA – The digital forensic examination of the missing bride-to-be revealed that she was experiencing a “personal dilemma” and made searches about deadly medications, police said on Sunday.
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said its findings were based on forensic examination of the gadgets owned by Sherra de Juan.

“Based on the digital forensic examination, it appears that Sherra has been experiencing personal dilemmas, facing emotional distress and financial problems due to her father’s medical condition and her forthcoming wedding,” the QCPD said in a statement.
“Further, examination on Sherra’s laptop revealed that prior to her disappearance, there were online searches on medications that could cause death, the effects of overdosing on certain drugs, and similar content,” it added.
Inquirer reached out to Mark Arjay Reyes, de Juan’s fiancé, for comment.
But on Saturday, Reyes shared a Facebook post of de Juan’s brother under the name “Bai fitness tv,” who disputed claims that she was suffering from financial problems.
De Juan has yet to be found after she went missing on Dec. 10.
Authorities said she was last seen along Commonwealth Avenue corner Atherton Street in North Fairview at around 1:30 p.m.
Since then, Reyes has made a series of Facebook posts appealing to the public for help in locating his fiancée.
He made another missing person post on Saturday, promising a P150,000 reward for possible leads.
“Until now, we have no leads, no clues, and no answers,” Reyes said. “Every day that passes feels heavier, but we are not giving up.”
