Mongolia sets first open water swimming record at World Aquatics Championships

More than 2,500 athletes from 203 countries are competing in 77 events across six disciplines. The championships will conclude on August 3.

ULAANBAATAR – Mongolian athletes have made history by participating in the open water 4×1500 meter team relay for the first time at the “Singapore 2025” World Aquatics Championships. The team completed the race in 1 hour, 31 minutes, and 48 seconds.

The team consisted of Master of Sports G.Sugar, A.Altannar, T.Anungoo, Deputy Master of Sports G.Maidar, and was led by coaches Ts.Bayaraa and E.Demuul.
