ULAANBAATAR – Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg has commenced an official visit to Sweden and Norway, scheduled for March 2–5. The tour begins in Sweden (March 2–3) at the invitation of Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard, followed by a visit to Norway (March 4–5) hosted by Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide.

During the four-day diplomatic mission, Minister B.Battsetseg will hold high-level talks with her counterparts and government officials to discuss the expansion of bilateral relations and economic cooperation.

The visits mark a continuation of long-standing ties; Mongolia established diplomatic relations with Sweden in 1964 and with Norway in 1968.
