Mongolian siblings to participate in swimming of Paris Olympics

The athletes were selected following the rule of participation of the athletes with the highest points in the ranking. Sister B.Enkhkhuslen topped the list, while younger brother B.Enkhtamir ranked second, so they will participate in the Olympics together.

ULAANBAATAR – B.Enkhkhuslen and B.Enkhtamir, sister and younger brother, from Mongolia will participate together in the swimming event of the “Paris-2024” Olympics.

The World Aquatics /International Swimming Federation/ granted two Olympic rights to Mongolia. Athletes who will participate in the Olympics with these two rights were confirmed last week. In doing so, the athletes were selected following the rule of participation of the athletes with the highest points in the ranking. Sister B.Enkhkhuslen topped the list, while younger brother B.Enkhtamir ranked second, so they will participate in the Olympics together.

There are cases where siblings from many countries have participated in the Olympics together, but this is the first time for Mongolia. Mongolia is going to participate in the 15th Olympics. On July 26, Mongolia will participate in the Paris Olympics with 32 athletes in nine sports.
