NAYPYIDAW – Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and Thai Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Mongkol Wisitsan met and discussed ways to smooth border trade between the two countries.

On the afternoon of September 8, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and Thai Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Monk Khun Wisitsan met at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Naypyidaw for discussions.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to further strengthen the existing friendship and partnership between Myanmar and Thailand, promote mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, especially in the trade and investment sectors, and facilitate border trade between the two countries.

Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reportedly attended the meeting.
