YANGON – It is reported that the National Museum in Yangon is holding a “Ramayana Art Exhibition” which displays the works of artists from India.
The artworks of Indian artists sent by the Council for Cultural Relations of India, the Embassy of India, The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center is hosting a free exhibition from November 8 to 15.
The art exhibition displayed at the National Museum is aimed at strengthening India-Myanmar people-to-people relations, deepening mutual understanding, and strengthening artistic cooperation and friendship.
The “Ramayana Art Exhibition” includes 32 paintings, 6 sculptures and 18 puppets. These works of art depict the famous classical literature of the Ramayana, its captivating plot, its joyful stories and profound teachings, connecting traditional traditions and contemporary works of art with a fresh perspective.
