NAYPYIDAW – On November 7th, relevant officials again arrested illegal workers in Thailand, and 287 illegal workers, including Myanmar workers, were arrested.
According to reports from Thailand, the relevant responsible groups from Thailand conducted raids on 30 areas in 25 districts where many migrant workers live.
161 Burmese workers were arrested as illegal workers. 75 Cambodian workers and two Lao workers are involved.
In addition, it is known that 49 Thai nationals who committed crimes under the immigration law have been examined and found, according to Thai News.
According to relevant Thai officials, legal action will be taken against the illegal workers caught.
In addition, 209,435 illegal Myanmar laborers were arrested from June 5 to October 2 as part of a 120-day plan to arrest illegal workers in Thailand, as well as 42,766 Cambodian workers. 16,481 Lao workers 181 Vietnamese workers and 8,907 other workers were reportedly arrested.
