MANILA — The Department of Health (DOH) reported an additional 938 infections of COVID-19 on Monday, with active cases at 18,179.

With this, the country’s COVID-19 caseload is now at 4,026,895 nationwide, with 3,944,231 recoveries and 64,485 deaths.

These new infections are lower than the average daily infections recorded from Nov. 14 to 20 at 1,296, as well as the recorded cases on Tuesday which was at 1,143.

Meanwhile, based on the tracker, Metro Manila continues to lead the list of regions with the most number of cases in the past two weeks with 3,457 cases, followed by Calabarzon at second with 2,032 infections, and Western Visayas with 1,498.

In terms of individual areas with the most cases, Quezon City leads with 734 infections, followed by Cavite with 711 and Laguna with 539.

Meanwhile, 8,272 tests were conducted on Sunday which will reflect the number of cases recorded on Tuesday.
