PM Kishida allocates ¥4 billion for Noto peninsula earthquake victims in fiscal 2023 budget

TOKYO – Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced in a press conference on Thursday that the contingency funds from the fiscal 2023 budget will be allocated to support the victims of the Noto Peninsula earthquake. The plan, which is expected to amount to about ¥4 billion, will be decided in a cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
