SEA Games gold medalist gives chicken rice to KL folks

The 15-year-old Malaysian golfer distributed the meal after seeing poor children on the Cambodian streets, deciding to help the poor back home.

KUALA LUMPUR – Fifteen-year-old golfer Ng Jing Xuen, gold medalist in the SEA Games held in Cambodia, delivered 50 packs of chicken rice in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.

Ng created history as the first Malaysian woman to bag a gold medal in the women’s individual event for golf in Cambodia SEA Games.

She distributed chicken rice for Kuala Lumpur folks after seeing the poor children in the streets of Cambodia and decided to help the homeless people back home.

When contacted by Sin Chew Daily, Ng said she did not deliver a lot of chicken rice, only 50 packs.
