DHAKA – Hollywood star Sydney Sweeney may soon make her Bollywood debut, with reports suggesting she has been approached for one of India’s most expensive films to date. According to The Sun, the “Euphoria” and “Anyone But You” actress has been offered a staggering £45 million (over ₹530 crore) package to headline the project.

The deal reportedly includes a £35 million acting fee and an additional £10 million from sponsorship agreements, making it one of the largest paychecks ever for an international star in Indian cinema. Producers are banking on Sweeney’s global popularity to expand the film’s reach across international markets.

The story is said to follow Sweeney as a young American star who falls in love with an Indian celebrity, with filming planned across New York, Paris, London, and Dubai beginning in early 2026. While nothing has been finalised, industry insiders say the project presents a massive opportunity to elevate her global profile.

Sweeney, who rose to fame through acclaimed TV roles and blockbuster films, is reportedly weighing the offer carefully as she balances several upcoming projects in Hollywood. If she accepts, the film could mark a groundbreaking moment for cross-cultural collaboration in global cinema.
