Pakistan summons Indian envoy over hijab ban in Karnataka schools

Islamabad's ire was directed at the order banning Muslim students from wearing the hijab in the Indian state of Karnataka.

The authorities also said security forces had killed 13 terrorists in the province's Panjgur and Naushki areas.

He also advised the two countries to resolve their disputes and start trade to fight poverty in the region.

The finance minister also said he was targeting a budget shortfall of 5-5.25% of the GDP in the fiscal year starting on July 1.

Accompanied by a high-level delegation, including federal cabinet members, the prime minister will also meet the Chinese leadership.
