Temperatures could drop to 10C later this week: Hong Kong observatory

HONG KONG – Temperatures in Hong Kong could drop to as low as 10 degrees Celsius on Thursday as a cold front is expected to move across the coast of Guangdong between tomorrow and Wednesday morning, the Hong Kong Observatory said Monday.

According to HKO website, temperatures could drop to 13 C in urban areas and lower in the New Territories on Thursday and Friday. It could fall to as low as 10 C in Ta Kwu Ling in the New Territories on Thursday.

From a range of 24 C to 28 C on Tuesday, the mercury is expected to drop to 15 C to 24 C on Wednesday, the Hong Kong Observatory said

“Winds will strengthen from the north and temperatures will fall appreciably over the region on Wednesday,” the HKO said.
