Timor-Leste officially becomes ASEAN’s 11th member

Timor-Leste was officially admitted as the newest member state of ASEAN. Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao signed the papers alongside the leaders of the current member states in a signing ceremony at the 47th ASEAN summit in Kuala Lumpur on Oct 26.
