ULAANBAATAR – The “Ulaanbaatar-2024” World Boxing Cup began on September 23, marking a significant milestone as the event is being held in Asia for the first time, specifically in Mongolia.

A total of 170 boxers from countries including Great Britain, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Italy, Wales, Australia, Peru, South Korea, China, the Philippines, and the host nation Mongolia are competing in the tournament, which will run until September 26.

Notably, this is the first time World Boxing Federation (WBF) ranking points will be awarded during the competition.
