BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – NBT Brunei continued its cherished tradition of celebrating Hari Raya with a dazzling display of festive decorations at NBT Hill, bringing joy to visitors and fostering community togetherness.

The annual event, held in front of the Toyota showroom in Gadong, was marked by a special countdown that saw NBT Hill transform into a vibrant spectacle of lights and decorations. Designed to symbolise unity, gratitude, and festivity, the display features a fusion of cultural and festive elements. The colour green, representing peace and prosperity, is prominently showcased alongside intricate Islamic patterns, colorful sparklers, lanterns, and woven ketupat decorations.

Adding to the festive ambiance, the Lexus showroom within the same premises is adorned with similar decorative elements, including traditional pelita (oil lamps) and a mosque-inspired arch. The stunning display, illuminated until 1am nightly, has drawn admiration from visitors and passersby, serving as a picturesque backdrop for families, friends, and photography enthusiasts.

During the launch on Sunday night, NBT Brunei’s Managing Director, Haji Ahmad Omar Pehin Dato Haji Husin, expressed his appreciation for the community’s support.

“Hari Raya is a celebration of unity and joy, bringing people together in festive spirit. We hope this display spreads happiness and enhances the festive atmosphere,” he said. -Fadley Faisal
