KATHMANDU – Thousands of Hindu women visited the Pashupatinath temple on Tuesday to observe Haritalika Teej.

Dressed in red saris and kurtas and adorned with jewellery, women of all ages arrived early to participate in rituals.

The festival, celebrated nationwide, with women visiting their parental homes, dancing, singing, and fasting while offering prayers to Lord Shiva.
