PHNOM PENH – Thirty-five Indian tourism enterprises have shared plans to take part in the Cambodia Travel Match (CTM) 2026 event next month. During their visit, the Indian delegation will tour several tourist destinations.

The Kingdom will host the Cambodia Travel Match (CTM) 2026 – India Special Edition from July 17–23. The event will bring together Indian outbound tour operators, destination management companies and tourism business leaders to assess Cambodia’s tourism potential and strengthen bilateral tourism cooperation between the two countries.

Organised by Pacific Asia Travel Association Cambodia Chapter (PATACC), with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, the Cambodia Tourism Federation (CTF) and the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (ICC) the event aims to create direct business opportunities while promoting Cambodia as a competitive, diverse and high-value tourism destination.

Over seven days, the Indian delegates will participate in destination inspections, business-to-business meetings, networking sessions, tourism product showcases and cultural experiences across Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Preah Sihanouk and Koh Rong Island. The programme is designed to introduce buyers not only to Cambodia’s iconic heritage attractions but also to its expanding portfolio of urban, coastal, island, wellness, luxury and experiential tourism products.

Thourn Sinan, president of the Pacific Asia Travel Association Cambodia Chapter (PATACC), explained that the event aims to enhance Cambodia’s reputation as a competitive, diverse and high-value tourism destination.

“CTM is more than a tourism event — it is a practical platform that connects international buyers with Cambodian tourism businesses, creates measurable business opportunities and supports the long-term growth of Cambodia’s tourism industry. We believe tourism succeeds through partnership, contribution and action, and together we can strengthen Cambodia’s position as one of Asia’s most compelling destinations,” he said.

Since its March launch, the CTM Mini-Series has welcomed 80 international hosted buyers from seven source markets, generating measurable business outcomes and strengthening Cambodia’s international tourism profile, explained the release. Early achievements include confirmed group movements from Vietnam, new market development from Indonesia, emerging golf tourism opportunities from Singapore, developing travel programmes from Myanmar and continued commercial engagement with China.
