PETALING JAYA -The Indonesian maid wanted for allegedly committing a lewd act on a baby was rebellious toward her employers, say police.

Deputy OCPD Supt Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood said investigations showed the woman, in her 20s, constantly defied her employers.

“The woman did not follow her employers instructions which led to her contract not being renewed,” he said when contacted yesterday.

Supt Ku Mashariman said Immigration records on her passport number showed that she left the country in 2020.

“We are now checking if she had re-entered Malaysia,” he said, adding that police were also tracing witnesses.

The woman is currently wanted by police for allegedly exchanging or publishing child pornography.

On Thursday, a police report was lodged by the employer in relation to the matter.

The suspect, identified as Nenobota Sri Marisa, is being sought in connection with an investigation under Section 8 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act.

Those with information on her whereabouts should contact Insp M. Magenderan at 03-7966 2222 or 017-3356 810.
