ULAANBAATAR – U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, met with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida during the “High-Level Meeting on Future Issues” ahead of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
President U.Khurelsukh commended the strengthening relationship between Mongolia and Japan, emphasizing the shared democratic values upheld through the “Special Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity.” He highlighted the importance of continued cooperation between the two nations, especially within the frameworks of the United Nations and other international organizations.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to further develop bilateral relations, ensuring the effective implementation of the Special Strategic Partnership Action Program. They agreed to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, intensify bilateral and multilateral dialogues, and work closely on regional and international issues aligned with their common goals.
