BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – This marks the first time the department has introduced a Hari Raya greeting card in postcard form, adding sentimental value for collectors and enthusiasts while reviving the unique culture of exchanging festive greetings.
The initiative aims to rekindle the nostalgia of sending greeting cards as a token of remembrance to family, friends, and loved ones—whether near or far. Additionally, it serves to educate the younger generation on the history of communication before the digital era, highlighting the continued relevance of postal services in modern life.
With only 2,000 pieces available, the limited-edition postcard is expected to attract collectors. Each set pack includes four postcards with different designs (excluding stamps) and has been on sale at selected post office branches. – Lyna Mohammad
